The Whittier Covered Bridge is one of the artists favorite fine art pieces as this is the start of her
Covered Bridges of New England series. Lisa Greenleaf has a unique connection with this bridge,
as she is related to it's namesake, John Greenleaf Whittier. In 2007 this bridge was chosen by
the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance's—Seven to Save list of endangered historic properties.
Currently the Whittier Covered Bridge is being renovated and restored back to its original condition.
